Lighthouse Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a multi-award winning olive oil, grown and cold pressed on the Bellarine Peninsula, a wonderful place of maritime coastal culinary delights including wines, good food and delicious olive oil. With 11,000 trees grown on 165 acres overlooking Swan Bay and Queenscliff, Lighthouse is the largest olive grove on The Bellarine.
Our season 2008 oil was entered into the Sydney Royal Show, Melbourne Royal Show and the Australian Olive Oil Association Show. We are very pleased to announce that we have won CHAMPION OIL with our PICUAL variety at Sydney. See our 'What's New' page to see results of our oil awards.
Lighthouse are proud to announce that well known Geelong chef Aaron Turner and his wife Astrid are opening Loam at Lighthouse Olive Grove on Thursday July 2nd, 2009. The restaurant will be open for lunch Thursday through Sunday and dinner Friday and Saturday nights. Lighthouse Olive Mill Shop opens from 11am-4pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday (open Thursdays from July 2nd) and is situated under the Restaurant at 650 Andersons Road, Drysdale 03 5251 1100. Visit Rosie for a free Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting with bottle and bulk oil sales available from shop. We stock Lighthouse Olive Oils, local wines, a large range of spices and herbs, jams and chutneys, some local cheeses, potted olive trees, giftware, soap and other body care products made with oilve oil.
